A day in the life of a bioinformatician computational biologist

Senior Scientist

Unit for Integrative Zoology, Department of Evolutionary Biology
University of Vienna

What do bioinformaticians do when they are alone?

Why do they need so many screens?

Why do they often not do what biologists ask of them?

I will try to answer at least some of these questions (and any others you might have), and present myself and samples of my work so far to the department.
